9 extra currencies for which we exchange foreign coins

Good news! We have added nine extra currencies to the list of currencies for which we exchange foreign coins. Here are the extra currencies for which you can now send in your foreign coins and get paid within 5 days of receipt:

Australian Dollar coins

It’s taken a while, but we finally figured out the logistics for the exchange of Australian dollar coins. We are glad to announce that we will henceforth accept all Australian coins for exchange. So if you have any leftover dollar or cent coins from Australia, now is a good time to exchange them for cash.

Estonian Kroon coins

The Estonian Kroon was replaced by the Euro in 2011. Should you have any obsolete Estonian Krooni coins in your drawers, you’ll be glad to learn we’ve started up the exchange for these. That way you can still get cash for your obsolete pre-euro coins from Estonia.

Hong Kong Dollar coins

Hong Kong Dollars are now included in the list of currencies for which we accept foreign coins. All Hong Kong dollar coins, from 10 cents to 10 dollars, are exchangeable. It’s quick and easy to get paid for the spare change you brought back from Hong Kong.

Israeli Shekel coins

We’ve added Israel to the list of countries for which we exchange foreign coins. Been in Tel Aviv, Eilat or Jerusalem recently? Your leftover shekel and agorot coins can now be exchanged for cash.

Latvian Lats coins

Latvia switched to the Euro in 2014. Latvian Latu coins are now obsolete. We have added Latvia to the list of Eurozone countries for which we exchange pre-euro coins.

Romanian Lei coins

The Romanian Lei is one of the extra currencies for which we exchange foreign coins. Coins of 1, 5, 10 and 50 bani (1/2 Leu) are now accepted for exchange. If you brought back some bani coins from your trip to Romania, it is now possible to exchange them.

new Swedish Krona coins

Sweden introduced new coins of 1, 2 and 5 kronor in 2016. We have added the new Swedish Krona coins to the list of coins from Sweden we accept for exchange. We continue to exchange the older style krona coins.

Turkish Lira coins

Did you travel to Turkey recently? If you have any leftover Turkish Lira coins: We now accept them for exchange. We can exchange all current Turkish coins, from the lowest 5 kurus coin to the highest 1 lira coin.

United Arab Emirates dirham coins

We have started with the exchange of coins from the UAE. All coins from 10 fils up to 1 dirham are accepted for exchange. If you have leftover coins from a recent trip to Dubai or Abu Dhabi, these can from now on be exchanged using our free of charge online exchange service.
