Coins from Bahrain can now be exchanged for cash on our website. The coins from the Bahraini Dinar exist in denominations from 100 fils (0.10 dinar) to 5 fils (0.005 dinar), all of which are accepted for exchange.

Bosnia and Herzegovina Convertible Mark current banknotes

Central African CFA Franc current banknotes

The Central African CFA Franc is one of the extra currencies we added. It is the currency of six countries in Central Africa: Chad, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and the Republic of the Congo.

Chilean Pesos current banknotes

As of April 2018, Chilean Pesos are the most recent currency we’ve added to the site. We have started to exchange current Chilean Peso banknotes. In a few weeks time we’ll also add Chilean Peso coins and out-of-circulation banknotes.

Eastern Caribbean Dollar current banknotes

The Eastern Caribbean Dollar is the currency of Anguillla, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. We have added Eastern Caribbean Dollar current banknotes to the list of currencies accepted for exchange.

Eastern Caribbean Dollar withdrawn banknotes

Eastern Caribbean dollar banknotes from older series are now also accepted for exchange using our online service. These discontinued banknotes are no longer in use in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States, but we are still able to exchange them.

Eastern Caribbean Dollar coins

It is now also possible to exchange Eastern Caribbean Dollar coins from the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. These Eastern Caribbean Dollar and Cent coins are part of the extra currencies added to our site.

Faroese Kronur coins

We now also exchange coins from the Faroe Islands, a rocky island archipelago between Iceland and Norway. The islands are self-governed and part of the Kingdom of Denmark. The Danish Krone is used for payments. These beautiful Faroese Kronur coins are part of an unofficial pattern set issued as collectible coins. They have no legal tender value but we still exchange them.

French Franc coins

Customers have asked us repeatedly whether it was possible we could add French Franc coins to the list of accepted currencies. We have now finally found a way to exchange French Franc coins and can therefore accept them from our customers. By doing so we are the only bureau de change in the world to exchange French Franc coins.

Greek Cassa Mediterranea banknotes

Banknotes issued by the Italian occupying forces in Greece during World War II are known as Cassa Mediterranea banknotes. We have added these WWII Cassa Mediterranea Dracme banknotes to the list of currencies accepted for exchange.

Indonesian Rupiah current banknotes

Italian Lira coins

Based on the feedback from our customers we have added Italian Lira coins to the list of currencies accepted for exchange. It took us some time find out ourselves how to exchange them, but this is now the case. As a result we are now the only bureau de change in the world to exchange Italian Lire coins.

Jordanian Dinar current banknotes

Banknotes from the Kingdom of Jordan are included in the extra currencies added to the site. Current Jordanian Dinar bills can from now on be exchanged in three easy steps. Other Middle Eastern currencies added to the site include the Bahrain Dinar, the Qatari Riyal and the Kuwaiti Dinar.

Kuwaiti Dinars demonetised banknotes

Kuwaiti Dinar banknotes from the 4th Series and earlier series have been demonetised: They have been deprived from their monetary value. They are no longer exchangeable at the Central Bank of Kuwait, however we continue to exchange them for a value that covers their collectable value.

Kuwaiti Dinars coins

Coins from Kuwait are issued in denominations from 1 fils to 100 fils. There are 1000 fils in one Kuwaiti Dinar. If you have Kuwaiti Fils coins it is now possible to convert them to cash on the Leftover Currency website.

Luxembourgish Franc demonetized banknotes

In addition to the more recent series of Luxembourgish Franc banknotes which are still exchangeable for a monetary value, we have added the older Luxembourgish Franc banknotes to the site as well. These demonetized banknotes from the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg only have a collectible value, no monetary value. We are able to exchange them and our exchange rate covers the collectible value of these pre-euro Luxembourgish banknotes.

Mexican Peso current banknotes

Another major currency we’ve recently added is the Mexican Peso, the 8th most traded currency in the world. The current series of Mexican Peso banknotes, polymer plastic bills from $20 to $1000 MXN pesos, can now be exchanged for cash using our online service.
