Vital services and support for disabled, elderly and other vulnerable people in and around Kent

Compaid provides vital services and support for disabled, elderly and other vulnerable people in and around Kent to overcome the multiple barriers of social, digital and economic exclusion that they face every day.

Through Compaid’s digital skills training and accessible transport, these vulnerable people are able to live confidently and independently to maximise their opportunities. Last year saw over 1,600 adults and children using one or more of Compaid’s services.

Fighting social exclusion through accessible transport

Social exclusion affects millions of people across the UK, leading to poor physical and mental health. Its impact on health has been found comparable to smoking 15 cigarettes a day and more serious than obesity.

Compaid’s accessible transport for disabled adults and children enables them to get to school and attend further education and training, as well as to go shopping and get their prescriptions, attend day centres, access community support, and to keep hospital and other medical appointments.

Your leftover currency enables Compaid to reach more vulnerable people

With your support, a bit of loose foreign currency will do so much for so many, reaching more vulnerable people in need of Compaid’s vital services. With your donations, Compaid can help even more disabled and vulnerable people to live their lives to the full.

Compaid is a registered UK charity with Charity Number 1064160. You can contact Compaid by telephone on 01892- 834539 or via email on [email protected].
