Donate your leftover currency to Retina UK
Retina UK exists to support people living with progressive sight loss caused by inherited retinal conditions, and to fund pioneering medical research to ultimately make their challenges a thing of the past. Retina UK provide a range of information and support including a Helpline, ‘Talk and Support’ Befriending Service, local Peer Support Groups around the UK and Information Days and Conferences that bring the community together.
Since 1976 Retina UK, formerly known as RP Fighting Blindness, has invested more than £16 million into ground-breaking medical research, and the very first treatment for one of the conditions (RPE65-related Leber congenital amaurosis) has been approved for delivery by the NHS in the UK. This is a treatment for just one of more than 260 conditions, so there is much more work to do!
