Donate your leftover currency to The Rose PlayhouseThe Rose Playhouse was built on Bankside, London, in 1587 and some of the most celebrated playwrights of the age had their plays put on there, including Shakespeare.
The fragile remains were discovered in 1989 and a Trust was set up to preserve them, but it has been and still is a battle to do so.
The Rose Playhouse needs your help! The Rose Playhouse is raising funds to complete its The Rose Revealed project, which aims to:
Excavate the remaining third of the playhouse and preserve the whole for future generations.
Construct a visitors’ centre, to tell the story of The Rose.
Stage productions there, keeping the spirit of Tudor times alive.
