The current set of Hungarian Forint coins was introduced by the Budapest-based Hungarint Mint Ltd in 1993. Coins from 5 to 200 Forints are legal tender in Hungary. The 1 and 2 Forint coins were recalled in 1998. Two versions of Forint coins are in circulation: Forint coins produced before 2012 have the text MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG (Republic of Hungary), while on coins issued from 2012 the text reads MAGYARORSZÁG (Hungary). Both versions are accepted. We exchange all circulating Hungarian Forint coins. We also give cash for withdrawn and current Hungarian Forint banknotes as well as demonetized older series forint banknotes.
