The Luxembourgish Franc was the currency of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg from 1854 until 2002, when it was replaced by the Euro. Before the introduction of the Euro, the Luxembourgish Francs was on par with the Belgian Franc. Coins of both currencies were interchangeable.
