The Swedish Krona is the currency of the Kingdom of Sweden since 1873, replacing the riksdaler at par. As with all similarly named currencies, like the krone, kroon and koruna, ‘krona’ is a reference to a crown, represented on the obverse or reverse side of most krona coins.
We exchange both Swedish Krona coins and notes, and we also accept withdrawn Swedish Krona banknotes for exchange. Our online exchange service is quick, easy, secure and free of charge.
