The Israeli Pound, or Lira (plural Lirot), was the currency of the State of Israel from 1952 until 1980, when it was replaced by the Old Shekel at a rate of 10 lirot for 1 shekel.
The Israeli Pound had ILP as its currency code. The symbol “I£” was used along with ל”י. Israeli Pounds no longer have a monetary value but at Leftover Currency we provide a way to exchange your old money from Israel to cash.
