The Omani Rial, also known as rial Omani, is the national currency of the Sultanate of Oman in the Middle East. It is the third most valuable national currency in the world. The Omani rial replaced the rial Saidi in 1973. The subunit of the rial is the baisa: 1 rial equals 1000 baisa.
