including this 100 Thai Baht banknote (updated portrait). They are part of the current Thai Baht banknotes series. The Bank of Thailand started issuing

The banknote of 100 baht shows the image of King Rama IX of Thailand in the Royal House of Chakri gown. The portrait of the King was updated. The back of the note features Wichai Prasit Fort in the Thonburi district of Bangkok, and shows Taksin the Great, the 18th century King of Thonburi.
In 2017 a new version of this banknote was issued in remembrance of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) who died in 2016. This version shows the King as a young man on the reverse.
