The Bank of Thailand issued Thai Baht banknotes in 13 different denominations,
including this 100 Thai Baht banknote (Mature King Rama IX). They are part of the withdrawn Thai Baht banknotes series. The Bank of Thailand started issuing
these 100 Thai Baht banknotes in 1994. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2015.
The red colored note of 100 baht portrays the image of Thailand’s Monarch, King Rama IX. The paper banknote contains the words ‘Bank of Thailand’. On the backside of the 100 THB note are statues of King Rama V sitting and Rama VI standing, with children.
