The Bank of the Lao PDR issued Kip banknotes in 8 different denominations, including this 100 Lao Kip banknote. They are part of the withdrawn Lao Kip banknotes series. The Bank of the Lao PDR started issuing these 100 Kip banknotes in 1979. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2003.
