including this 10 Singapore Dollars banknote (Ships series). They are part of the withdrawn Singapore Dollar banknotes series. The Monetary Authority of Singapore started issuing
these 10 Singapore Dollar banknotes in 1988. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1999.
The red-orange colored note of ten dollars measures 141mm by 69mm. On the $10 SGD paper bill a caption reads ‘Singapore – Singapura’. The ship on the front of the 10 SGD note is the trader vessel Palari. The backside of the note features an apartment building, part of a public housing complex in Singapore.
