The coins of the Third Belarusian Ruble were issued from 2016. However they are dated 2009. These coins were the first coins of the Belarusian Ruble, for which previously no coins were struck because of the low value of the ruble.
Issued by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, all Belarusian coins feature traditional embroidery, the National Emblem with Soviet star, and the text ‘БЕЛАРУСЬ’ (Belarus).
