This one dollar – un dollar note depicts the image of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the front, and a prairie scene on the back. There were two different portraits of the Queen used on all denomination 1954 series notes. The public noticed that the notes seemed to have the Devil’s face in the lower portion of the Queen’s hair, so notes issued later in the same year show the Queen without the Devil’s hairdo. Has your 1954 series Canadian dollar banknote got a Devil’s Haircut?
