The Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten introduced the first Caribbean guilder banknote series when the currency became legal tender on 31 March 2025. The paper notes come in five denominations: 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 guilders.
The series takes its design inspiration from the marine life around Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The front of each note highlights local sea life, while the reverse features cultural and historic landmarks from the two countries.
