The CFP franc coins exist in two versions: those with the text ‘Polynésie Française’ (French Polynesia) and those with the text ‘Nouvelle Calédonie’ (New Caledonia). Both types of CFP franc coins have the same design and feature the image of French symbol Marianne (100fr, 50fr, 20fr and 10fr) and the Roman goddess Minerva (5fr, 2fr, 1fr and 50 centimes).
