The commemorative $50 Colombian Pesos coin celebrates the centenary of the Colombian constitution (1886) and the 50th anniversary of the constitutional reform (1936). The reverse side of the cupronickel coin shows the National Capitol on Bolivar Square in central Bogotá, the seat of both houses of the Congress of Colombia.
