20 Euros banknote (Second series)
The European Central Bank issued Euro banknotes in 8 different denominations,
including this 20 Euros banknote (Second series). They are part of the Euro banknotes series. The European Central Bank started issuing
these 20 Euro banknotes in 2015. They are currently still in circulation.
The second series €20 banknote has church windows and a bridge in Gothic architectual style. The map on the back side of the blue colored twenty euro note is larger than the older version €20 note so it includes Cyprus. Improved security features were added, for example the hologram foil strip.
