The violet-coloured 50 Iraqi Dinars banknote features Al Maqal Port in Basra. The image on the front side shows a cargo ship at a freight terminal in the harbour. The back side of the old 50 IQD bill shows palm trees and geometrical circular patterns. The text on the back of the 50 dinars bill reads “Central Bank of Iraq” and “Fifty Dinars”. The text on the front side is in Arabic.
