The polymer $1 dollar banknote from Trinidad and Tobago shows the country’s coat of arms in the centre on the front side. To the left are two scarlet ibis birds. On the back side of the 1 TTD bill is an image of the Central Bank of Trinidad & Tobago headquarters building, in Eric Williams Financial Complex, Port of Spain. The one dollar bill is Trinidad and Tobago’s lowest value banknote. In 2021 it replaced the old paper $1 dollar TTD banknote. Paper banknotes are no longer legal tender in Trinidad and Tobago.
