The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago issued Trinidad and Tobago Dollar banknotes in 7 different denominations, including this 100 Trinidad and Tobago Dollars polymer banknote. They are part of the current Trinidad and Tobago Dollar banknotes series. The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago started issuing these 100 Trinidad and Tobago Dollar banknotes in 2019. They are currently still in circulation.

The new $100 Trinidad and Tobago Dollars banknote is the second polymer note after the $50 TTD. The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago announced that it will replace all the country’s paper banknotes with polymer versions. This new polymer $100 replaced the old paper $100 TTD note which was demonetized at the end of 2019. The blue-coloured polymer $100 TTD bill features a greater bird of paradise, the flag of Trinidad and Tobago, and the Central Bank Twin Towers in Port of Spain, along with an offshore oil rig. The Trinidadian and Tobagonian $100 bill is the country’s highest value banknote.
