100 Vietnamese Dong banknote type 1991
The State Bank of Vietnam issued Vietnamese Dong banknotes in 12 different denominations,
including this 100 Vietnamese Dong banknote type 1991. They are part of the withdrawn Vietnamese Dong banknotes series. The State Bank of Vietnam started issuing
these 100 Vietnamese Dong banknotes in 1991. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2006.
The 100 dong banknote from Vietnam features the Pho Minh Buddhist Temple in Tức Mặc village. Unlike the other Vietnamese banknotes, the 100 Mottram Dong bill does not have the portrait of revolutionary leader Ho Chi Minh. The little value of the 100 dong note has almost entirely been wiped out by years of high inflation in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
