The Central Bank of Kuwait issued Kuwaiti Dinar banknotes in 7 different denominations, including this 10 Dinar Kuwait banknote (2nd Issue). They are part of the Kuwaiti Dinars demonetized banknotes series. The Central Bank of Kuwait started issuing these 10 Kuwaiti Dinar banknotes in 1970. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1982.
The 10 dinar banknote from Kuwait’s Second Issue shows a traditional sailing vessel at sea. The portrait on the old 2nd series 10 KWD bill is that of Sheikh Al-Sabah.
