including this 1/4 Dinar Kuwait banknote (2nd Issue). They are part of the Kuwaiti Dinars demonetized banknotes series. The Central Bank of Kuwait started issuing
these 0.25 Kuwaiti Dinar banknotes in 1970. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1982.
The black and brown coloured banknote of 1/4 Kuwaiti Dinar features the Port of Kuwait in Kuwait City. The portrait on the obverse side of the quarter dinar bill is that of the former ruler of Kuwait. Sheik Salim al-Sabah.
