100 Dinara banknote Republic of Croatia

The Croatian National Bank issued Croatian Dinar banknotes in 13 different denominations, including this 100 Dinara banknote Republic of Croatia. They are part of the obsolete Croatian Dinar banknotes series. The Croatian National Bank started issuing these 100 Croatian Dinar banknotes in 1991. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1994.

The green-coloured note of 100 Dinara has the text “Sto Hrvatskih Dinara” printed on both sides. On the front is the portrait of scientist and priest Ruder Boskovic. The back side features Zagreb Cathedral on the Kaptol, with its two towers of 108 meters long, the tallest building in Croatia. The cathedral was damaged in the 22 March 2020 earthquake, in which the tip of its southern tower broke off.
