2000 Dinara banknote Republic of Croatia

The Croatian National Bank issued Croatian Dinar banknotes in 13 different denominations, including this 2000 Dinara banknote Republic of Croatia. They are part of the obsolete Croatian Dinar banknotes series. The Croatian National Bank started issuing these 2000 Croatian Dinar banknotes in 1992. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1994.

The 2000 Dinara banknote was one of three extra denominations that were introduced in January 1992. Like the lower denomination banknotes, the front of the 2000 HRD dinara bill shows the portrait of Ruder Boskovic. On the back side of the Dvije Tisuce Hrvatskih Dinara bill is an image of the statue ‘History of Croats’ in Zagreb.
