To his right is the Central Library of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The back side of the Dos Mil Pesos bill shows the Royal and Pontifical University of Mexico. Following a monetary reform in 1993, three zeroes were dropped from Mexican banknotes. This $2000 old pesos note was replaced by a coin of $2 new pesos.
