The 1984 version of the red and orange-coloured paper banknote of 10 Nigerian Naira pictures Alvan Ikoku on the front side. The back side of the withdrawn 10 NGN bill shows two Nigerian women with bowls on their heads. A white circle is on both sides of the note, surrounding the note’s watermark, a heraldic eagle. The 1984 version was issued for many years. First undated and later including the year of issue on the front side: 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 or 2005. Undated banknotes are from between 1984 and 2000.
