The Bank of Thailand issued Thai Baht banknotes in 13 different denominations,
including this 20 Thai Baht banknote (9th Series). They are part of the withdrawn Thai Baht banknotes series. The Bank of Thailand started issuing
these 20 Thai Baht banknotes in 1953. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1975.
The green-coloured old 20 baht banknote features a young King Rama 9 on the left and Phra Samut Chedi in the middle. The historical building on the back side is Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall in Bangkok.
