100 Thai Baht banknote (9th Series)
The Bank of Thailand issued Thai Baht banknotes in 13 different denominations,
including this 100 Thai Baht banknote (9th Series). They are part of the withdrawn Thai Baht banknotes series. The Bank of Thailand started issuing
these 100 Thai Baht banknotes in 1955. They were withdrawn from circulation in 1968.
The orange-coloured banknote of 100 Thai Baht from the 9th series was printed in a single colour. It was counterfeited extensively and was therefore replaced by a multicoloured 10th Series banknote in 1968.
